Make sure your current information is on file in the front office to receive updates, invites, and links to Birney events.
We urge you to make arrangements to attend our Family Fridays; dates and details for each of these events are included in the calendar and the Buzz for your planning purposes.
Although you are welcome at any time, we concentrate our family involvement
activities around our Family Fridays, from 2:30-3:35 p.m. At 2:30 p.m.,
we gather in the auditorium for the principal’s monthly presentation with important information, updates, and
question and answer period. After principal information and updates, families head out to the blacktop or classrooms to meet the teacher or find their Birney Bee(s) for the Family Friday activity of the month.
TIPS for Family Friday:
If you need to miss a Family Friday, please inform your child you will not attend the event. Children look forward to seeing their family at these events and if they know you cannot make it, they can prepare themselves ahead of time.
Plan ahead - it's always a packed house!
